The Pad Thai is a popular choice, stir-fried to perfection with the perfect balance of tangy, sweet, and savory flavors. But it’s the Tom Yum soup that really steals the show-an aromatic and zesty dish that packs just the right amount of heat, paired with fresh herbs and tender shrimp. If you're a fan of something with a bit more bite, their green curry is a standout, creamy and bold with a spicy kick that’s sure to satisfy any craving for heat.

What’s great about Thai Noon Restaurant is that they manage to make traditional Thai food accessible while still staying true to the authentic flavors. Whether you like your dishes mild or fiery, you can customize the heat level to your preference, which is a nice touch for those who want to enjoy the flavors without burning their taste buds.

Another standout on the menu is the Som Tum, a green papaya salad that strikes the perfect balance of crunch, spice, and tanginess. The fresh ingredients make it feel light and refreshing, but it’s packed with complex flavors that keep you coming back for more.

The restaurant also pays attention to the details-serving up dishes with beautiful presentation and generous portions, making it easy to share family-style if you’re dining with a group. Plus, the prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the care put into every dish.

Whether you’re a regular on the Portland food scene or just passing through, Thai Noon Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a menu that promises something for everyone. What People's Say About Place

Where do I begin, as a traveler coming from Houston the last thing I expected was an amazing, friendly staff that made me feel like part of their family. We had very tasty Thai food, and the portions were great for the price. We usually go for our go to green curry and pad Thai however after speaking to our waitress she recommend drunken noodle with beef and green curry noodles special with chicken and they were great! Their Thai tea was actually amazing, perfect balance of sweetness but not overbearing. I will absolutely come back!

Service was absolutely wonderful! Large portions filled our hungry belly up quickly and each bite was flavorful. We had a few vegetarians and vegans in our group who well well accommodated with menu options. They were able to sit our large group of 7 immediately on a Friday night. I tried the house speciality curry and love all the different vegetables in it. My boyfriend loved the chicken satay with their sauces! So yum!

First time here. My client lives only 2 blocks away, and she recommended this place. Food was delicious and in huge portions. Chris was my server, and they were so attentive and friendly. So glad I work nearby; I can indulge myself here more often

You like Thai food? Well I hate to tell you this, but you'll be disappointed of what you have been eating. By far the best Thai food outside the land of smiles. Amazing . Food so good, make a monk brake their valse of silence. สวัสดี (hello) drop what your doing and go, food that makes you smile, and a price youll be thinking, they under charged you. Worth going in every way. I mean look at these pictures. My mom took these on her phone.

Our service was excellent! We were seated fast and got our food quick too. Many high-quality items at the table. The food could have more flavor, but the portions were very large. You could very well get 1 dish for 2 people. If you are in the area, I would stop by.

Delicious food and good vegetarian options too. Me and my friend enjoyed our dinner here and would definitely recommend it. Their sweet sticky rice with mango is the best that I ever had compared with any Thai restaurants that I have been to and also staff were friendly and helpful.

Great service with great food!!! Thai food is everywhere, but this place actually jumped to my favorite spot in the portland metro. Salad rolls were salad rolls. They didn't have the mint, which i personality do not like. Persona preference item, but it matters. The spinach wraps had every ingredient in small chunks, and they even had little toasted shrimps. My only complaint is they use spinach, which is just a smaller leaf than lettuce. But it's not so small it's hard to eat. I'm just fat and want more per bite. But the flavor of everything was so great. The noodles in the drunken noodles were fresh, and the flavor was great! I loved it. The pineapple curry was one of the best I have ever had. They didn't short any of the vegetables. This item is not able to be made vegan. They have a ton of items that can be made vegan upon request. Some items, such as 4 of the 5 curry options, have fish sauce so vegans have 1 option in the curry menu. But all the noodles, rices, and other categories are vegan by request. This place I will be going too anytime I'm near the northeast side of town.

Thai noon was such a surprise and a diamond in the rough! We came here from a recommendation from a car rental person since we’re from out of state and the restaurant, staff, and food did not disappoint! The staff made my wife and I feel welcome and made amazing recommendations for us to enjoy! Large portions for reasonable prices and we’ll gladly come back when we’re in the area!
